Passionfruit

Listening to Neighbours while thinking about my day.

I woke up at 6:30 this morning, trying to decide whether I should get up or sleep in until my normal hour of seven. I must have fallen back asleep, because the next time I opened my eyes and looked at my clock it was 7:10. Mum walked into my room to wake me up so I turned towards the door and closed my eyes again. Missy ran into my room to come and lick me on the ear. She whistled and ran out the room.

There were more people in the Chemistry lab than usual due to the lab validation that we were going to do in ten minutes. People were doing last minute study to cram in the last bits of information. The validation itself was actually quite good and I knew how to do most of it.

The double period of Applicable today didn't feel as long as it usual does, even though I felt really tired.

The group today at lunch was split into two groups of people playing 13: the groups that don't mind egos getting into the way and the people that enjoy the Private Game.

In Art, we drew fruit that had been cut in half using charcoal. When I walked into the room, the smell of passionfruit was overwhelming and I just wanted to grab them and eat it. I drew two halves of a Pawpaw which actually turned out OK. At the end of the class, I was given half of the passionfruit and I walked with it to the library to go to my free period. We played Uno, and I tried to talk while I had the passionfruit half in my mouth as my hands were holding the cards.

Try the love tester I have put at the bottom of my blog. It is quite interesting!

Two Day

Listening to Tonight from West Side Story

I have just been rattling my brain with some Chemistry equations which I will need to know for my Chemistry lab validation tomorrow. I spent quite a while writing them into my calculator which I hope will be helpful. While doing the dishes afterwards, I was reflecting on my past two days, trying to remember what I did yesterday so I can writing it in today's blog. The reason I didn't write an entry yesterday was because Stephen left his S&E assignment to the last minute, even after the class was given an extension. So now I will try and remember everything...

Yesterday was not a good day for me. By the end of end of it, I felt like I wanted to explode. Chemistry was fine because we watched an interesting movie on polymers, but art was when it just started to go wrong. I had made a necklace pendant out of clay. Without thinking, I picked up my finished piece and squashed it like it was a normal piece of clay. Luckily, I didn't squash it too much and I was able to flatten it out again, but I has to get rid of all the cracks I had put into it.

At lunch, I began to feel sick. I didn't eat all of my lunch because of it. At the last period of the day, Human Biology, I felt like I was going to faint. We had to write notes from the book and I was unable to hold my pen properly and my writing was everywhere.

Today, was a better day for me, but I still didn't feel 100%. In Chemistry we when through empirical formulas. I started to do the question that was apart of my assignment while my friends who do Discrete were studying for the test around me.

In Human Biology, we continued writing the notes on the chapter and then we went through it.

In English, we were given an essay question and Ms Perks went through it. This is because we will be having an in-class viewing essay on Monday.

At recess, Emily brought out her box of broken lollipop (the giant one that she won last year at Mercy Day) to school again. I took a giant piece of it which I didn't finish til half way through my free period. Today Kelsey brought her Uno cards so we played that, while I tried to talk with the piece of lollipop in my mouth.

In Religion we continued to watch Shawshank Redemption.

At lunch, Hadassah played her first game of 13. She had learnt from watching us play. Beginners luck was on her side and she won.

In Art, we had to draw fruit. I was given an apple. I don't think I have done such a good drawing in a while now.

In Applicable, we got our EPW's back and for the first time this year I passed it! I got 67.3%!

That's about it...
