Their Farewell

In the morning, we went to the Chapel to rehearse for our Graduation Mass. It was the most boring one and a half hour thing to do.

Afterwards, we had our Year 12 farewell assembly. No one from the rest of the school cares. They just sit there, arms crossed and just let the time pass by. I remember I was like that when I was in the years below. When you get to Year 12 and it actually means something, you just see these people forced to come and watch you walk in and out of the gym. I know when they get into Year 12, they are going to want the rest of the school to care. They won't.

The whole year went to Jetty's at Hillaries Boat Harbour to have lunch together. I haven't been there for years, but the food tasted so good. A lot of the people were very noisy and didn't know how to conduct themselves in a restaurant. Daniel put prawn heads onto his fingers (interesting look). They had my favourite cheesecake there (passionfruit), but I added some little chocolate buds onto it to make it different. Yum! Some fun awards were presented and all the Emily's got presented with an Emmy Award.

When the teachers left, Catherine, Chantelle, Emily, Martin and I went to do some window shopping. The others left Catherine and I behind because we spent so long admiring the items in Crystal Reflections. We then went into this dress shop which had some of the most beautiful dresses. I wish I went to that shop for my ball gown.

The family picked me up at around 3 so that we could take Stephen to Princess Margaret Hospital. We found out that he is allergic to nickle sulphate and wool alcohol.

Friday Night Download was such a good show! They had found some of the most funniest movies from the internet I have ever seen!

Appreciation

All I did in Chemistry today was talk. The Covalent Angels all sat in a circle and formed out own little world. We joked about Chantelle's unusual laugh and Kelsey & Kristina sang and danced to the Spider-Pig song.

We had a year 12 assembly and I received three awards: one for English, one for being in EcoLeaders and a special award that a few other year 12 received for being a quiet achiever and for those who aren't recognised as much as others are. I was expecting an English award put not that one! Catherine sang her rendition of Ronan Keating's "When You Say Nothing At All" which was really nice. We also heard our Graduation Song, which is a song by Blink 182, but the lyrics have been changed. It was rocking!

Lauren, Diem, Chantelle and I went and saw Ms B during our two free periods. I thanked her for the special award, then we went to the computer room. Lauren and I went through all the slips for valediction mass and Hillary's lunch, while Diem and Chantelle starting making cards for all the staff in the school. We played 13 and Uno and it was just a great time together, talking about important and not so important stuff.
