Graduation

Yesterday was my year 12 graduation. The chapel was packed with people and there were a lot of people standing. We had to walk in and stand up near the alter. In our rehearsal, we were told not to talk as we walked in, but when we did, everyone in the chapel was talking. It was quite rude, in my eyes actually. I was standing right at the front of the altar, so I could really notice it.

The mass was quite boring, as usual. I was happy to get that out of the way, because afterwards was when we would be getting our certificates. Dr Curry made a speech, that I kept falling in and out of sleep of. Then Lauren and Dominic made a speech, which was actually interesting to listen to because it was funny. We then got our certificates and a pen.

Afterwards, we watched the movie that Joseph made while the band played our graduation song. The bass was put up WAY too high, so when Luke started playing, it scared and shook everyone. Then Adam and Matt's microphone wasn't working so we couldn't hear what they were signing.

I was so happy to walk out of the chapel. Everyone was there hugging each other. A few of my friends then walked back to the PA to drop off our gowns. Dad found me and walked me back to the chapel, where I met up with Babcia, Dziadzio, Nanna, Uncle Tim and the rest of my family and we took photos.

Today I have been studying for Chemistry. I went outside and studied today on a blanket on the lawn in the sun. It was nice. Missy was rolling on the 'blankie' next to me. Other than that, a pretty boring day.

A Friend In Need Is A Friend Indeed

Catherine called me today around 11:30am to ask if she could hang out at my place. She had been to school earlier that morning and she had left her keys at home, so she was locked out. I went with Missy and caught up with her near the bush. We walked back to my place, where we watched Spaceballs and ate chips and cracker biscuits. Her Mum called and said that she had come back home and hid the keys. For the first time, I heard Catherine speak her language. It was beautiful. After we watched the movie, Missy and I walked her up to the main street. Lucky Missy; two walks in one day.

After that I felt very distracted. I was going to do a lot of study today, but a friend in need is a friend in deed. I did some Applicable Mathematics study, as well as some Human Biology notes before dinner, but after that, I could not be bothered and just watched TV. Futurama had a very good episode on, where the Professor had created a parallel universe. Very interesting and funny!

You Only Get One Chance To Make A Good First Impression

Today I went to my Lisa and Ron's house for a barbecue lunch. We were greeted at the back door by their dogs Molly and Maurice. They are a very, very small breed of dog (I don't know what breed they are). They are so light and thin, you can pick them up with one hand. They are very shy dogs, but Molly liked the attention and Maurice would just quickly sniff you. I tried to pick him up and he squealed at me, which scared me. He didn't go near me after that.

They had a pool table, tennis table and dart board there, as well as an outdoor TV which was set to a music channel on Foxtel, which gave the get together a good feel. I only played one game of pool, in which I lost to Stephen by sinking the white ball after I had sunk the black. I really didn't feel like doing much because I was freezing cold, so I sat their shivering.

Mark brought over his girlfriend Angie to the get together. She is very friendly and took a special liking to Jamie and Marrissa, my two second cousins. What I didn't like was that she was always on the phone. She walked off to answer her phone twice while we were eating lunch. She also likes to hug people, as she gave hugs to my Uncle and Aunty, Mark's parents, went she arrived and when she left.

It was also Ricki's birthday and Lee came out with a surprise cake for her (her favourite apparently). It was so nice, I had two pieces. Lisa also brought out a whole lot of Trumpets. I was so tempted to have one, except I did want to be more cold than what I was.

Their Farewell

In the morning, we went to the Chapel to rehearse for our Graduation Mass. It was the most boring one and a half hour thing to do.

Afterwards, we had our Year 12 farewell assembly. No one from the rest of the school cares. They just sit there, arms crossed and just let the time pass by. I remember I was like that when I was in the years below. When you get to Year 12 and it actually means something, you just see these people forced to come and watch you walk in and out of the gym. I know when they get into Year 12, they are going to want the rest of the school to care. They won't.

The whole year went to Jetty's at Hillaries Boat Harbour to have lunch together. I haven't been there for years, but the food tasted so good. A lot of the people were very noisy and didn't know how to conduct themselves in a restaurant. Daniel put prawn heads onto his fingers (interesting look). They had my favourite cheesecake there (passionfruit), but I added some little chocolate buds onto it to make it different. Yum! Some fun awards were presented and all the Emily's got presented with an Emmy Award.

When the teachers left, Catherine, Chantelle, Emily, Martin and I went to do some window shopping. The others left Catherine and I behind because we spent so long admiring the items in Crystal Reflections. We then went into this dress shop which had some of the most beautiful dresses. I wish I went to that shop for my ball gown.

The family picked me up at around 3 so that we could take Stephen to Princess Margaret Hospital. We found out that he is allergic to nickle sulphate and wool alcohol.

Friday Night Download was such a good show! They had found some of the most funniest movies from the internet I have ever seen!

Updated Look

I went to school today to set up my artwork in the library. We put all of our jewellery into the glass cabinet which made it look so much better for some reason. I would have liked to see it the jewellery with the light one because my transparent beads would have looked so good.

I was supposed to go to my Human Biology seminar today, but I couldn't be bothered waiting another three hours before it was on. So I went home and ate Chinese food, then made my blog look the way it is. I love it. I had to get rid of all my widgets, so it took me a while to get them back on.

You'll probably notice a few different things.

  • enter you email address and subscribe to my entries to get a notice of when I update my blog
  • use the Google search to find particular things on my blog which is a lot accurate than the Nav Bar search.
  • See newly asked questions and replied answers from me and others from around the world on Yahoo! Answers. Help someone out with their questions!

Results

Results from Semester 2 Exams & Overall Marks

English
Exam - 62.2%
Overall - 70.1%

Chemistry
Exam - 63.3%
Overall - 68%

Human Biology
Exam - 67%
Overall - 70%

Applicable Mathematics
Exam - 51%
Overall - 55%

I was feeling so anxious for my Applicable mark. I felt so nervous because I had a feeling I was going to fail it. To see the 51% on my paper made me feel so happy. I had passed the course. Even though it is not the greatest grade in the world (C), it is the best that I can do because maths is my weakest area. I just hope that I will be able to pass my TEE and with great study, I should.

I had my Aunty and my Nanna come over today so that they could see the photos from their Esperance/Kalgoorlie holiday. Some of the pictures were so beautiful and they were taken with our camera!

After they left, my uncle, cousin, his girlfriend and their baby Joshua came over, so that they could do their tax returns on the internet and Dad could help them. Joshua had a keen interest in Missy and loved looking at her.

I just finished watching the James Bond film The World is Not Enough. It is one of my favourites next to GoldenEye. I love it how women are becoming more involved in the movie; not for their sex appeal but for their intelligence.

Banned

SA:MP = San Andreas Multiplayer
Stephen got our IP address banned. He used a rocket launcher from a minigame to kill people which is (apparently) against the rules. So we are banned for two days, even though I did nothing.

Didn't do that much today. Played some SA:MP before Stephen got us banned, watched some CSI :Miami and cleaned my room...

How interesting...

Seminar

So I had my Chemistry seminar today. It was during period three and four, but I had to go to school at nine because Stephen had to go to Princess Margaret Hospital to get his allergy patch test done. I went in the library and did an Applicable Mathematics exam, which I got half of it done in a distracted two hours. Nathan also showed up and he worked on Physical Science.

At the seminar, Mr C went through and asked if anyone had any problems. He also gave us all the solutions which was really good. We finished quite early. We took Kristina home, then we got Chooks.

I played a bit of SA:MP which was quite cool. For some reason, guys have this idea in their heads they can kill girls quite easily. I did the opposite. I pwned him. This guy then killed me and I was given a few opinions to punish him for an unfair murder. I decided to take his money. All $29000 of it.

Rigged & Pwned

National Bingo Night is rigged.
There is such a slim chance that you are going to win. The show was recorded weeks ago. THEN they put the games cards you can win onto the net. They have already selected which cards are going to win. There is no real lucky and chance. Besides, the show is so boring and dragged out. Also, how come we don't see (properly) the ball coming out of the sphere. It goes behind where the girl is standing like there is something to hide. The show is going to fail and I hope it does.

John Howard gets pwned by Kevin Rudd
The Great Debate was on today. On the 60 Minutes version, they show this graph and when they talk, the arrow goes up and down. Obviously, the people didn't like what John Howard was saying because his arrow was mostly in the negative section whilst Kevin Rudd had his at the top of the positive section. I hope you become our new Prime Minister Mr Rudd. Howard should go.

Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader
must also be rigged. Seriously, there are some questions that a 5th grader would not know. They must be allowed to study or be given the answers. If not that, why isn't that the answers of the children not shown all the time. They must be getting questions wrong. Rove also said that the questions don't necessarily get harder. They do. Why do people leave the 1st grade questions until last? When they get to them, they are hard. I guess getting the upper grades questions out of the way first would mean an easier shot at winning. Imagine what would happen if these questions were left until last. If the questions do get harder and they choose a harder grade, people will fail.

Bloons!

I added a game to my blog and it is very addictive.
It is called Bloons and you have to pop balloons.
There are many levels but it is great fun.
Check it out at the bottom of the page!

Proposition

I'm sick of all the inappropriate adult sites on Blogger. You just click next on the navigator bar at the top of the page and an adult page comes up.

This isn't right. I didn't think it was so easy to get to a adult site when your not even looking for one.

Blogger, stop powering these inappropriate sites!

Fun and Games

Ok. So everybody has been asking me when I am going to be putting up a new post. Here it is. I really haven't felt like writing for a while but I have noticed that people have been coming back to check if I have. Thankyou!
Now for the show.
Two days ago, something happened to the computer that I thought couldn't happen.
The start button on the task bar was missing.
Missing!
If you press the start key on the keyboard, the start menu does not come up.
Basically, anything on the taskbar has the potential to disappear.
So I search Google to try and find a solution. I was told to try the System File Checker to repair windows and to replace corrupted files. It worked.
Happened to you?
Press start+r on the keyboard
Type in SFC /scannow
You will need to have your Windows disk ready incase it has to replace some files.
After it has finished, restart your computer.
Done!
What else...
I am obsessed with Mahjong. I have been playing a version on the internet which is very good.
I saw some advertisements underneath the game for a downloadable version called
Mahjong Escape - Ancient Japan
It is such a good game. You go up levels, each one being more difficult and with more tiles. The layouts are different each time too. I'm not even half-way through the game and the time to clear the board takes so long.
This game is not for the impatient.
Moving on...
My family and I played Scrabble last night. Dad won both games.
Highlights
Stephen put down the word AQUA and I built on to form AQUATIC.
I then said to Stephen, "It's a shame you didn't have an A, Q, U, T, I, C and S. You could have got 50 points."
Mum said, "There's no such thing as AQUATICS."
It was Dad's turn after mine and he put on a S at the end of AQUATIC. We checked in the dictionary and it was right. There was such thing. It means water sports. So Dad got a high score from Stephen and I. From then on, I shut my mouth.
Dad put the word DUNK on the Triple Word Score tile going downwards. On my turn, I built onto it to form DUNKABLE which hit the Triple Word Score underneath the first. It wasn't in our dictionary, so I ran to the computer and it was on the dictionary on the net. I got such a great score. YAY.
That's all I can think of for now.

First Exam

Today was my first exam - Chemistry. Everyone was makingme nervous because they kept on going on about how nervous they were. I felt very pressed for time because I didn't get to finish all of the paper. At pens down, I was shaking so much that I had to use two hands to take a drink from my water bottle. I got home and have been playing SA:MP for quite awhile, a mod to GTA San Andreas.
