I went back to school this morning. I went to the Maths Office to return my exam folder and got a note to get my $10 back, while Stephen went to his form room to hand in a piece of work. I then went to look for Ms Perks to return the English book I borrowed, but could not find her. So I wrote her a note and had it put into her pigeon hole. Afterwards, I went to the Art Room to collect my visual art diary, then went to Beach Road Administration to get my $10.
We drove to the shops, to exchange a cookie jar that we bought from Priceline, because the seal had been broken. Stephen and I went to look at deodorant gift packs.
We then went to Princess Margaret Hospital, for Stephen to see a doctor about his eczema. We couldn't find parking, so Stephen and Mum got out of the car, while Dad and I went to look for a parking spot. We had to drive quite a long distance down Hay Street before we found one, then had to walk all the way back to the hospital. We were waiting there for over a hour and Dad had to go move the car, because the parking spot for only for another. While Stephen and I waited, we played 2 player snooker and pyramid on Stephen's phone. We finally were able to see the doctor. She was one that we hadn't seen before and she was very nice, though her favourite word must have been frustrated as she said it a lot. She even compared my skin to Stephen's. Dad finally came back from relocating the car (he had to ask a nurse where we were). Stephen was given a prescription for a variety of different creams. We went to the pharmacy located in the hospital, but then said it would be a 45 min wait before we got the creams.
Dad decided that we should go to lunch instead of waiting, so we went to The Pelican Sport Cafe. I have no idea what suburb it is in, but it is near the ocean and while you eat your meal, you can look over the water. The place was quite busy today. The water tasted like metal and the drinks were a rip off. Other than that, the meals were so delicious. I had cabonara, Dad had focaccia and Mum and Stephen had fish and chips.
We then had to drive aaaaaallll the way back to Princess Margaret Hospital. Mum got out of the car so we could find a parking spot. Mum caught up with the person who actual served us at the pharmacy, so they walked back together and got the creams quickly.
Off to Mirrabooka Library we went, so that I could return some of my books and pick up some of my reservations. While I did that, Stephen signed up for his own card.]
Afterwards, we went to the Ballajura Library, because Stephen had reserved some items. I ended signing up. I got out lots of CD's and The Sound of Music, which had the feature film disc missing.
At 6.20pm, we went back to school for my Presentation Night. Blair and Hadassah we in the car park so I talked to them for a while. Emily and Lauren came up to us, and I saw the program for the night. I came to school not knowing what award I was going to get and I ended up getting the Religion Award, for the second year in a row. I was so disappointed and annoyed. I ended up sitting next to Diem and we talked quite a bit... she also got the Religion Award as well as Discrete Mathematics award. The entertainment was OK (The Dance Team being the best item as always) and the night went pretty quick. Oh well, no more wearing the school uniform!
Wow...such a long day...

Retail Therapy
My family and I went to Harbour Town today. Stephen needed new clothes and we were only going to go if both of us wanted to so we did.
I bought a dress from Valleygirl and a pair of black pants from AWOL.
We spent three hours there...
Dad and Stephen finished after a few hours and while Mum and I still shopped, they went to City West.
I got home and tried on my things again. Stephen also showed us what he bought; 4 shirts and denim three-quarter jeans.
Afterwards, I watched Bring It On.

Life of Crime, Books
Mum and I went shopping today.
We originally went to go get some library books I had reserved.
I bought a yellow top and two boob tubes.
I also bought a new purse, which nearly matched my red hand bag.
I couldn't believe how many people were going into Strandbags.
Mum and I got a blueberry muffin and juice for morning tea.
We then went to Suzanne Grae.
We spent so long in there, as Mum kept trying on different pieces of clothing, some of which I picked out and they suited her.
The ladies working in the shop we trying to remember where a certain piece of clothing was to be put in the store and even though it was first time there, I knew where it was supposed to go.
We then bought Chinese food for lunch.
We got to the library, where Mum got her own card (well a new one because her other one was too old) and I picked up my ten reserved items; CSI: and CSI: Miami books, James Bond books and two CSI: Season 4 DVD's.
I wandered around the library while Mum sat and read.
We ended up getting home and 2 o'clock only to realise that the security locking system on the DVD's hadn't been opened.
After dinner, Dad and I went back to the library, where the lady who had served me before recognised me, and opened the DVD's in two seconds.

Heat Wave
For the last year, I have been looking for the CSI: Miami books. Today when I went to the library, I found some. I originally went to go find Mermaids by Patty Dann (the book based on the movie Mermaids) but they didn't have it. I ended up getting out a CSI: and CSI:Miami book and a book that Mum wanted to get out. I signed up to get a library card as well.
After that, my family and I did some general shopping, including getting some digital photos put in.
I went home and I made some Potato and Leek soup, which I haven't made in such a long time, but with a different recipe. I had to blend it when it was cooked. I put it all in, put my hand over the cover and turned it on. The cover then came off and a little flew out. Mum then told me not to push on the lid because I am putting pressure on the motor. I told her we have to hold the cover. Mum turned it on and the cover flew off and soup went everywhere! It went all over Mum's clothes, the bench and the floor. Luckily for me, none got on me, but unfortunate for Mum, she burnt herself on the hot soup.
I started reading the CSI: Miami book called Heat Wave. The book is set before Speedle dies. The characters act exactly the same, way like on the show with Eric and Speedle joking around and Horatio acting like he usual does (the whole hands on hips, I'm in control gig) . What is strange though is that it is set when it is raining. It hardly ever rains on the show...

Just Another Day
Didn't do much today.
I woke up and watched some episodes of The Nanny on YouTube.
I read some more of Dateline, reading all of the dates on January and the starting of February which took me three hours to read. I read the book outside on a blanket on the lawn with my head in the shade and my legs in the sun. I was really nice.
Signing off.

A New Hobby, A New Read & A Horrible Restaurant
I have a new hobby now: origami. I used to do origami quite a bit when I was younger, but I have been looking on the Internet for some videos and copying them from there. I have mostly been making flowers, such as a lotus, but I tried to make an orchid but it didn't work. I have just been using computer paper to make them, which it too thick so I need to go find some proper origami paper to make it work better.
My graduation present was to choose any restaurant I wanted to go to for dinner. I chose to go to Muscats , a buffet at The Vines because I have been there was breakfast before and it was really good. Dinner was not. There was not a very large selection of foods for dinner and the hot meals were hard to get to because it had a very heavy cover on them and you could put it down anywhere or put your plate down to put food onto it. We had to go up in pairs so one of us could hold onto the cover while the other dished the food into their plate. The most disgusting thing was the flies. They were everywhere and going onto food. When my brother and I went up for dessert, there was a fly stuck on the cheesecake. It wasn't like this restaurant was cheap and it had very good service, such as the waiter pulling out the chairs for us to sit down and putting the napkins onto our laps. They just need something to cover the food from flies.
While we were driving to The Vines, I started reading a book that Dad bought from work called Dateline. It is basically an encyclopedia of events that happened on each day of the year. I was reading the chapter of the book about the origins of calendars. It is so interesting, because there are so many different calendars out there for the different religions and groups in the world, ruled by the moon or the sun. They have been changed so many times over such a long period of time, but much of it is very similar to the Gregorian calendar the majority of the world uses today.
