A Long Day

I went back to school this morning. I went to the Maths Office to return my exam folder and got a note to get my $10 back, while Stephen went to his form room to hand in a piece of work. I then went to look for Ms Perks to return the English book I borrowed, but could not find her. So I wrote her a note and had it put into her pigeon hole. Afterwards, I went to the Art Room to collect my visual art diary, then went to Beach Road Administration to get my $10.

We drove to the shops, to exchange a cookie jar that we bought from Priceline, because the seal had been broken. Stephen and I went to look at deodorant gift packs.

We then went to Princess Margaret Hospital, for Stephen to see a doctor about his eczema. We couldn't find parking, so Stephen and Mum got out of the car, while Dad and I went to look for a parking spot. We had to drive quite a long distance down Hay Street before we found one, then had to walk all the way back to the hospital. We were waiting there for over a hour and Dad had to go move the car, because the parking spot for only for another. While Stephen and I waited, we played 2 player snooker and pyramid on Stephen's phone. We finally were able to see the doctor. She was one that we hadn't seen before and she was very nice, though her favourite word must have been frustrated as she said it a lot. She even compared my skin to Stephen's. Dad finally came back from relocating the car (he had to ask a nurse where we were). Stephen was given a prescription for a variety of different creams. We went to the pharmacy located in the hospital, but then said it would be a 45 min wait before we got the creams.

Dad decided that we should go to lunch instead of waiting, so we went to The Pelican Sport Cafe. I have no idea what suburb it is in, but it is near the ocean and while you eat your meal, you can look over the water. The place was quite busy today. The water tasted like metal and the drinks were a rip off. Other than that, the meals were so delicious. I had cabonara, Dad had focaccia and Mum and Stephen had fish and chips.

We then had to drive aaaaaallll the way back to Princess Margaret Hospital. Mum got out of the car so we could find a parking spot. Mum caught up with the person who actual served us at the pharmacy, so they walked back together and got the creams quickly.

Off to Mirrabooka Library we went, so that I could return some of my books and pick up some of my reservations. While I did that, Stephen signed up for his own card.]

Afterwards, we went to the Ballajura Library, because Stephen had reserved some items. I ended signing up. I got out lots of CD's and The Sound of Music, which had the feature film disc missing.

At 6.20pm, we went back to school for my Presentation Night. Blair and Hadassah we in the car park so I talked to them for a while. Emily and Lauren came up to us, and I saw the program for the night. I came to school not knowing what award I was going to get and I ended up getting the Religion Award, for the second year in a row. I was so disappointed and annoyed. I ended up sitting next to Diem and we talked quite a bit... she also got the Religion Award as well as Discrete Mathematics award. The entertainment was OK (The Dance Team being the best item as always) and the night went pretty quick. Oh well, no more wearing the school uniform!

Wow...such a long day...

...

I had such a bad night's sleep last night. I must have had a fever, because I was freezing cold. My stomach was aching. I felt really sick. I tossed and turned.

Today was the last day of school forever and I felt so alone. Everybody was talking with everybody else, signing people's shirts and books, whereas I had put myself to the side, feeling sick. People were taking photos with every person they could find and I felt like an outcast. Not many people wanted photos with me. I felt like I had to ask them to take my photo. I was in such a bad mood with how sick I was feeling and how tired I was because of it.

The six of us Chemistry girls had organised to have a private party. It didn't turn out to be one. Everyone else who was in the lab area came into OUR room to steal OUR food. People have been having parties and we weren't allowed to come to them. How come they were given right to come and steal our food? They kept coming back. I felt like I could scream at them. A few times we told them to leave and they still came back. I was so upset because I wanted to have a few hours with my Chemistry friends. I was so quiet. When everybody had left, which was five minutes to the bell, I exploded. I started talking loudly and banging the tables in such frustration.

I have to go to my brother's football trophy presentation night. He finally got his 50 game medallion which he should have got two years ago. The whole thing went to long and we left half way through. I said to my parents that our school presentation are quicker then theirs, plus we have "entertainment". The thing I found strange, is that a football club that endorses fitness and health provided Chooks for everyone. It was so boring that I was nearly falling asleep.

Why is everybody stuck one way? What is up with everyone sticking with their boyfriends all the time? Pushing your friends away is the most horrible thing you can do, because when you need someone to talk to other than your boyfriend, you will have no one.

I FEEL SO ALONE.

The Escort

Listening to (Exchange) by Massive Attack

Today was a more fulfilling today compared to the rest of the week. With the last Chemistry topic long gone, we practised naming and writing out the structural formulas of certain organic compounds which was quite enjoyable.

Religion was spent with the class listening to the rest of the class and their songs about freedom.

For English, we were going to do an essay question on viewing images and I had planned my essay on the questions she had already given us, but then she changed the question to one that had words I didn't understand. Once I found out what they meant, it was quite enjoyable to write seeing as I had a lot to say, but seeing as it was only a practise essay, lots of people were talking to it was hard to concentrate.

I had a double period of Applicable Maths, which we continued to work on the Poisson Distrubution chapter and I got quite a lot done seeing as I was talking quite a bit.
At lunch, Ms Perks called for me. I was thinking, "What have I done wrong?" but all she wanted Wilson and I to do was to escort two women to the Staff Room. I came to the conclusion that they were English teachers and that they were here for a meeting, most likely for moderating. They asked us questions about the school and they also asked if we were Prefects, seeing as we were escorting them. That made me feel important.
In Art we continued to make our jewellery.

In my free period, we played cards again, but in the library in front of the Year 10's who had to do their Religion Assignment research on the computers.

When I got home I watched two more episodes of CSI: Miami. "Slow Burn" was amazing. It was the second time that I saw Alexx and Eric nearly die from being caught in an Everglade fire. A very good episode.

Tomorrow Never Comes Until It's Too Late

Listening to No W by Ministry

Today was my Chemistry test. Not too hard and not too easy, but quite good.

I felt like I was falling asleep in Human Biology again. It must be something about that room.

English consisted of us analysing the representations of gender in visual texts. In a Pepsi ad, Blair suggested that the picture had a sexual message to it, so the class was spilt in a battle of whether the woman in the picture was trying to be seductive or she angry. The discussion lasted for at least ten minutes.

The free period was again spent playing cards.

In religion, we had a man come out to talk about his life at a seminary. The talk was actually an hour spent asking him questions, some of which were not exactly appropriate. By the end of it, I noticed a lot of people were losing interest because it was mostly the guys in the front row asking the questions and the people in the back rows were unable to hear.

At lunch I was explaining to people what makes a fruit a fruit and they were so surprised to find out that a capsicum was a fruit. We were also discussing the unusual shortened versions of names that don't sound anything like the full name like Dick is short for Richard. We also tried to find a boys name that started with U. If anybody knows, please leave me a comment.
Art was spent with us picking out the beads we wanted to use for our jewellery piece and I started making a ring out of copper wire.

In Applicable Maths, we learnt about Poisson Distribution. Ms Vivian gave us another applet for our calculators which are so helpful and quick for finding the answers.

When I got home, I made my own copper wire ring whilst watching CSI: Miami. I have watched fourteen episodes so far.

Signing off.

Just Another Day...

Listening to Everywhen by Massive Attack

Not much happened today. In art, I drew designs of what I wanted my pendant to be and I also curled wire, which was quite fun.

My free Chemistry period involved us playing 13 for an hour instead of doing any work.

I got my in-class essay results back and I got a 6M (equivalent to 75%). That is the first level 6 I have received for an in-class essay and the first A grade I received all year in English. I was so suprised that I got such a high mark seeing as I thought I would have only got a level 5H at the most.

See? Not very interesting was it? Probably the most interesting part of the day was watching two more episodes of CSI: Miami and eatting cupcakes.
