Busy Bee

Today was not a relaxing day at all. I have been so busy from the time I woke up until right about now and I feel so exhausted.

Firstly, I went to Crystal Reflections at Hillary's Boat Harbour. I had to do a homework task where I had to go and find some jewellery, sketch it and answers questions about it. Mum and I asked the lady at the counter if I could do the task and she had a look on her face that gave off a "that's a strange request" expression. I don't know how long I was in the shop for, because I had to draw three pieces of jewellery. For the whole time I was there, the other customers that walked in gave me strange looks, especially the time when I was sitting on the floor drawing a piece of jewellery that was on the bottom shelf. I sketched two bracelets and a necklace (the necklace gave me quite a lot of ideas of how I could make my necklace I am going to make) which was made out of beautiful amber beads. I still haven't answered the questions, but I will be doing them tomorrow.

Afterwards, we went to The Bead Company in Osbourne Park. I have never seen so my beads and beading accessories in my life. There was such a big range, with many different colours and types (glass, crystal, plastic, wooden, diamante and pearl). Dad and Stephen were getting so bored (they were bored when we walked in because Dad said make it quick) but there was so much to look at and lots of decisions to be made. I chose my colour design from Gustav Klimt's painting "The Kiss", with colours of yellow, orange, white and black. I will be creating a design similar to the necklace in I saw at Crystal Reflections, but I will use aspects from the painting.

When I got home, I had to watch the rest of Schindler's List and start watching The Shawshank Redemption for my Religion essay. I finished both of them, which took up a good four hours of my time. I hadn't watched the end of Schindler's List at school because I was sick, so watching it at home wasn't so boring, but when I went to watch The Shawshank Redemption again, I was getting really bored with it, because we had watched it one and half times in class.

After dinner, I went to go finish my Chemistry assignment with no luck. I was searching on the Internet for some of the things I needed (some of which was very useful!), but most of the time I couldn't find it.

*sigh*

Signing off.
