NEW LOOK BLOG!

I have been spending a lot of time today updating the look of my blog and I think it looks really good. The pictures look really good against the black as well as the colours. I spent so much time resizing my banner picture, because the first time it was too long and it squashed everything together :S. Once I got the right length I added the title onto it and perfecto! Tell me what you think!

So why have I put pictures from S.W.A.T. onto my blog when the blog has nothing to do with S.W.A.T.? Well, I do like the movie, a lot. I just have a thing for police and guns. Plus the pictures look awesome, especially the Deckon Kay one. The main reason though is that they allowed a woman to join the S.W.A.T. team. Just because a man can do it, that doesn't mean a woman can't. Chris kept believing that she could work on the team. I find that inspiring. Remember that you are powerful and you can do anything you put your mind to.

So back to what I was doing today. I did some random blog surfing and for once, I wasn't presented with a whole bunch of porn blogs (to look at other blogs click 'Next blog' at the top of the page on the navigator bar). What I have noticed is that there are a lot of parents that put pictures up of their children and have blogs dedicated to them. There are also many blogs that look similar to each other like the video blogs. Warning - there is a group of blogs that make a lot of pop ups come up. Before the page fully loads, look at the address. If it has a bunch of random letters in front .blogspot or it is a bunch of random numbers, click back immediately.

I went on YouTube quite a while today where I had a look at the videos of people I have subscribed to. I also had a look at commercials for the expansion packs of the original Sims. Some of them are so misleading because the describe what happens wrongly. One of them was the Sims Makin Magic commercial where they showed the backfired spells. They said one of them was a bunch of storm clouds come and it starts raining randomly. WRONG! The spell actually worked. The spell is used to make storm clouds come to rain and make you flowers grow. Each plant has a cloud form above it, even if it is a pot plant inside. If you have a lot of plants, there will be a lot of clouds...see?

I went onto Shockwave and played DJ Fu Wax Attack II again which I gave up on after two levels because they are so long.

I have been trying to pass a level on Ricochet Lost Worlds (a better version of Brick) for a such a long time now and I finally did today. The levels are grouped into tens and the level I was trying to pass was right at the end. If you lose, you have to start from the beginning again, so a lot of the time I would end up giving up. The level I was trying to pass is actually based on luck and quick reflexes (it is hard to explain...play the game...) and I was waiting for that last brick to be hit. I felt so happy after I finished it. Now onto the next group of levels...

I played Counter-Strike Condition Zero (the LAN hacked version Nathan gave me) and I couldn't even pass the first mission on easy! I don't know what is wrong with me! I went for a head-shot but it was like nothing was hitting him. It was really strange...

I have to get ready for Kristina's 18th birthday party now. I will tell you about it in tomorrow's post.
